Best Surfing In the World

Arugam Bay is listed as one of the top ten surf points in the world. Situated on the southeast of Sri Lanka , Arugam Bay receives the same Antarctic winter swells that hit Indonesia 's southern shores in the middle of the year. The best time of the year for surf is between May and November when the predominant wind is offshore for at least the first half of the day.

Arugam Bay is located at the “end of the road” on the East Coast of Sri Lanka. If you’re after remote rural life with all the atmosphere of jungle and adventure this is the place for you. There is no thoroughfare through our village, and once there it is very hard to leave!
The village of Arugam Bay is 5 km south of Pottuvil and on the edge of Yala East National Park.

Arugam Bay is a place for surfers, watersports freaks and wildlife aficionados with cheap to reasonable priced hotels and guesthouses.Unfortunately Arugam Bay is on its way to become a major tourist destination, so you better hurry up while its still laid-back and original.

Small Miracle

Tourism is one of the main industries in Sri Lanka because of it’s location and natural beauty. Every year lot of tourists from different countries come to visit the island and the number of tourists coming to Sri Lanka is growing rapidly every year. Today from this post, I’m going to show you a short video called “Sri Lanka small miracle”, Watch it first. After the video, I will tell you some beautiful places where you should travel if you go to Sri Lanka one day.
As I think the best time to go to Sri Lanka for travelers is April to June. I say this because at this time Sri Lanka has some big festivals, good climate, has lot of fruits and flowers everywhere and many more. If you need city life, you need to stay in Colombo or Kandy, but if you need village life, you can go to southern cities like Galle or northern cities like Anuradhapura.
For wild life sceneries, I suggest you to go Yala, Wilpattu and Sinharaja forest. There you can see various kinds of birds, fish, snakes, plant life and other animals like elephants, leopards, deers, bears, crocodiles and etc. You can go to Hikkaduwa to see corals and northern part of island to see ancient buildings. Recently I heard that Sri Lanka now organize tours for whale and dolphin watching. There are lot of other places I didn’t mention here, but you can see if you go to Sri Lanka. So you have no reason to think twice or wait, book your ticket today and go there to see everything by your own eyes
